Now I'm looking forward to Brion's reply. For me the same basic geometry as any double braid works on any core and sheath but with parallel fiber core it's handy to carefully tape and then heat fuse the end of the core making a sort of bullet that can be manipulated without losing any strands. We'll see how the pros do it.
